This area focuses on targeted therapeutic support for mental illnesses, emotional challenges, and complex psychological needs.

  • Psychological consequences of neurological or physical illnesses: Support in coping with psychological distress resulting from physical illnesses, for example after a stroke or in cases of dementia.
  • Psychological distress associated with chronic illnesses: In particular in cases of ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome).
  • Mental Disorders: Treatment of conditions such as depression or anxiety disorders.
  • Life Transitions or Crises: Support during difficult life events such as job loss, the death of a loved one, or other significant changes that may affect mental health.
  • Stress Management and Coping with Illness: Support in dealing with stress-related burdens, such as burnout or persistent overload, as well as psychological support within the context of rehabilitation.
